OFFICIAL ADVENTURE TIME JAKE FACE YELLOW T-SHIRT

DID YOU KNOW?
Pendleton Ward is very aware of how the internet relates to television shows, and created an episode in which the Ice King writes his own fan-fiction for "Adventure Time." His fan-fiction focuses on the fantasy trope "Rule 63," that states there is an opposite-gender reflection of every character in a story. The Fionna and Cake stories became so popular, that they now have their own comic book series.

Cotton Division OFFICIAL ACTION MAN ADVENTURE SQUAD CREAM T-SHIRT

DID YOU KNOW?
Action Man is an action figure launched in Britain in 1966 by Palitoy as a licensed copy of Hasbro's American "movable fighting man": G.I. Joe.

Action Man was originally produced and sold in the United Kingdom and Australia by Palitoy Ltd of Coalville, Leicestershire from 1966 until 1984 (Palitoy also offered sub-licences to various toy manufacturers in various markets).

The figure and accessories were originally based on the Hasbro (US) 1964 G.I. Joe figure (for 1966–1969 production). Hasbro's G.I. Joe figure was patented in 1966.Even the specific method of attaching the appendages was patented as a "Connection for Use in Toy Figures".The first Action Man figures were Action Soldier, Action Sailor and Action Pilot. All were available in the four original hair colours: Blonde, Auburn, Brown and Black. They were accompanied by outfits depicting United States Forces of WWII and the Korean War. In later years, the figures and accompanying uniforms and accessories would reflect the forces of the United Kingdom rather than the USA. Action Man was subsequently reintroduced in 1993, based on the G.I. Joe Hall of Fame figure of that time.

OFFICIAL G.I. JOE SYMBOL CAMOUFLAGE PRINT T-SHIRT

DID YOU KNOW?
Back in 1981, when Hasbro was developing the G.I. Joe: Real American Hero toyline, comic creator and Marvel editor Larry Hama was coincidentally also pitching a comic titled Fury Force that would center on a group of elite soldiers, including Nick Fury’s son. Hasbro would then go to Marvel to work out a partnership to use their characters to make comics.

As many diehard G.I. Joe fans know, Hama would eventually sign on to help create the G.I. Joe comic. After signing on with G.I. Joe, it seems that he used and adapted many of the concepts and characters from Fury Force to G.I. Joe.

OFFICIAL G.I. JOE COBRA WANTS YOU NAVY BLUE T-SHIRT

DID YOU KNOW?
While most famous for acts of domestic and global terrorism, Cobra still used their legal and illegal business dealings as a source of income. When they started out in Springfield, they began by setting up various telephone scams, pyramid schemes, and other financial crimes. These activities funded their early efforts but remained in place once they had set their sights even higher.

Once Cobra became a sovereign nation, they used their diplomatic status to build a consulate building in New York. Once they had this, they were able to use diplomatic immunity to cover up a wider range of crimes free from prosecution. The Joes hid spy technology in the consulate building eventually, which allowed them to unravel some of their schemes.

OFFICIAL MARVEL COMICS DEADPOOL TACO FACES BLACK T-SHIRT

DID YOU KNOW?
The red suit isn’t just so bad guys won’t see him bleed, but is actually inspired by the web-slinger himself, Spider-Man. Though Deadpool was conceptualized as a character easy to draw so that the artists would make deadlines quicker, his creators were also inspired by Spider-Man’s costume. Later on, this inspiration was translated into the comics by having Deadpool admire Spider-Man and even constantly try to win him over as his best friend.

On top of this, Wade Wilson was also highly inspired by the DC character Slade Wilson, also known as the Teen Titans adversary, Deathstroke. Both men are mercenaries, are physically enhanced, have an affinity for battle, use swords, and have a huge arsenal of guns. So, Deadpool’s suit isn’t the only thing directly inspired by other characters. Luckily, Deadpool still stands on his own as a character, despite all of these inspirations.

OFFICIAL FRIDAY THE 13th JASON MOVIE POSTER BLACK T-SHIRT

DID YOU KNOW?
Jason, originally played by Ari Lehman, was just a boy in "Friday the 13th." In "Part II" he wore a sack on his head. He didn't pick up the now trademark hockey mask until "Part III," though it was originally supposed to be a baseball umpire mask. Rumor has it, the ump mask would require too much makeup for Jason's deformed face and a hockey mask was cheaper, easier, and (let's face it) scarier.

DC COMICS SUICIDE SQUAD THE WHOLE TEAM (IN SQUAD WE TRUST)...

DID YOU KNOW?
For the most part, the Suicide Squad is an all around villain-fest, but some of the greatest members have actually been heroes! Heroes have regularly joined the ranks over the years to assist the team with missions involving direct conflicts with either America, or the Justice League. Often times, the heroes that are recruited have ties to the government or very specific abilities that could aid in a certain mission. Some examples of government influenced roster additions have been Sergeant Steel, Unknown Soldier, and Power Girl.

Perhaps the most notable and important hero squad member was Barbara Gordon as The Oracle. After Barbara was paralyzed from the waist down by The Joker, she couldn’t maintain her spot as Batgirl. This is why she then put her hacking skills to use by becoming The Oracle. She would often run the technical sides of ops for the squad, allowing them access to servers and buildings. She remained on the team for some time, but later moved on to aid Batman in his crusade once again. Her time on the squad was not only a great shake-up, but her contributions were invaluable.
