Big, aggressive and often disobedient, Charizard is one of the most popular characters in the Pokémon cartoon series. While Ash’s Charizard left the show years ago to live in a sanctuary for its species, it makes frequent returns to the show whenever is necessary for the plot.
Ash’s Charizard is fairly unique among the wannabe trainer’s Pokémon – in battles, Charizard has displayed between seventeen and nineteen moves, depending on how they’re counted, which is more moves than any other single Pokémon has displayed. In fact, almost all moves that Charizard can learn in the games have been shown off in the cartoon series, a feat which hasn’t occurred for any other Pokémon.

The Mandarin Almost Appeared in the First ‘Iron Man’. An early script for the first ‘Iron Man’ movie featured the Mandarin, but director Jon Favreau killed the idea because he thought the character was too “fantastical.” Instead, Stark is captured in the beginning of the flick by a terrorist group known as the Ten Rings, which is a direct reference to the supervillain’s rings of power. It also provides a nifty bit of continuity for the third ‘Iron Man’ installment

"My understanding is Bill Shatner took one look at the scene and said, 'No you will not! If anyone's going to be part of the first interracial kiss in television history, it's going to be me!' So they rewrote it."

Most people know Deadpool for constantly breaking the fourth wall and talking directly to the readers (or even the writers and illustrators). These breaks are often hilarious and act as great pop-culture references. Unfortunately, there is a darker undertone to these moments. With the self-awareness of knowing he is nothing more than a character in a comic book and at the dispense of the writers, Deadpool has been seen as discouraged and pained by his existence.
In fact, there have been several times in which Deadpool has addressed the existence of the fourth wall as something emotionally crushing. As we see in Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe and Deadpool Roasts The Marvel Universe, Wade is unbelievably depressed by the weight of knowing that he exists only as a means of entertainment for all of us.
