The Legend of Zelda wouldn’t exist if Miyamoto’s parents had kept a closer eye on him.Shigeru Miyamoto grew up in Sonobe, a small town located around a half-hour south of Kyoto. Miyamoto didn’t have many toys, and the family didn’t own a TV, so little Shigeru spent most of his days roving the countryside unsupervised. During his wandering he would often get lost and stumble onto unexpected things — including, on one portentous day, a deep dark hole. Now, most parents tend to try and keep their kids away from deep, dark pits, but Miyamoto’s weren’t around, so he grabbed a lantern, crawled in and discovered an entire miniature cave system. The sense of wonder and discovery Miyamoto experienced on his childhood adventures formed the spiritual basis of The Legend of Zelda. If Miyamoto’s parents had been just a little more worried about his daily whereabouts (or had owned a TV) there’s a good chance we wouldn’t have Link’s many adventures.

Deadpool's powers and personality traits combine to make a wild, mentally unstable, and unpredictable mercenary. Deadpool is a former member of X-Force, a self-professed member of the X-Men and Avengers and has recently joined the Thunderbolts. The "Merc with a Mouth" is infamous for breaking the fourth wall.

Jim Shooter, Marvel’s editor-in-chief in the ’80s, bought the idea for Spider-Man’s black costume from a fan for $220, and gave the fan a shot at writing the comic, though that didn’t work out. The black costume was introduced as an alien “symbiote” and eventually became one of Spider-Man’s most famous villains, Venom.

When Tony Stark is kidnapped and forced into a cave in the beginning of the first Iron Man film, we as an audience are so wrapped up in what is going on that we focus quite solely on Tony. When Tony finally puts on the suit and takes to dispatching his captors we're looking so closely at what he's doing we fail to notice who exactly he punched in the face and sent flying across the cave. That person was none other than Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello, who is a friend of director Jon Favreau. Listed in the credits simply as “Guard,” Morello has the honor of being the first person that Tony Stark sucker punchers in his newly invented Iron Man armor. Morello also contributed guitar parts for the film and its sequel. Check out that sequence from the film below.
