A Marvel and DC Comics crossover story saw Batman and Wolverine merged into one character known as Logan Wayne, aka Dark Claw. The origin story for each hero was incorporated, with Logan witnessing his parents’ murder as a child and moving to Canada to live with his uncle. Dark Claw sports Batman’s trademark cape, with Wolverine’s classic yellow costume and adamantium claws. Needless to say, the chances of Dark Claw leaping from page to screen are highly unlikely.

Batman Beat Darkseid… Twice! - Darkseid is essentially the end boss of the DC Universe, an evil god who can go toe-to-toe with Superman himself. Even though Batman is a mere mortal, he's bested the villain on two separate occasions.
The first time, Darkseid blasted him with his Omega Sanction beams, so Batman shot Darkseid with a god-killing gun. Darkseid's beams sent Batman back in time, but Batman eventually returned to the present and thwarted Darkseid's plans. The second time, Batman put on the Hellbat armor designed by the Justice League, giving him immense strength at the expense of his own life-force. He was able to brawl with Darkseid long enough to complete his mission, rescuing his son Damian Wayne.

Batman Beyond takes place decades in the future, when Bruce Wayne is a bitter old man who's given up on being Batman. (There's a heartbreaking scene early on where Bruce almost uses a gun, something he swore never to do.) A teenager named Terry McGinnis discovers Bruce's secret, and also finds out that the new CEO of WayneCorp (now called Wayne-Powers) is developing biological weapons and killed Terry's father. Terry winds up becoming the new Batman, with Bruce Wayne giving him pretty much constant advice from the Batcave, via Terry's earpiece. The two of them fight crime as a team, eventually saving the world a few times. Oh, and Terry's Batsuit is like a cybernetic suit of power armor, that can fly and do other awesome stuff.
